Haveil Havalim is over at The Israel Situation where they are celebrating Tu B'shvat!

A great big yasher-koach in her direction.
In honor of the golden jubilee KCC here is a picture of our local eatery. It serves pizza, falafel and shwarma in three separate sections. This photo shows the pizza and felafel side. If you want the shwarma you have to sit on the other side.
The sign below is over the pizza section and I like it because besides informing us that Pizza Hakafriya (Country Pizza) is Kosher L'Mehadrin and made from 100% cheese it also comes with halachic instructions. It tells us that the bracha (blessing before eating) on this pizza is 'hamotzi' and adds 'even just one slice'. An only in Israel moment!

Thanks for the KCC mention.
Great "only in Israel" post. Did you send it to the next KCC?
I believe the halacha to say hamotzi on a slice of pizza differs from Sephardim to Ashkenazim. Sephardim would say hamotzi, Ashkenazim (or at least the ones here) say no, it's mezonot.
Fun photos!
Glad you like my great grandfather photo.
Pizza sounds good in any language or country.
